Haven't worn my flower-holed knee highs in a while. With the weather cooling off today for September 1st, it was just the right time for that! I worn these outdoors with my red Naot Mary Janes (a nice way to turn this quite conservatively shaped shoe into a more kinky/funky look), and indoors as tabi socks for my indoor Asian inspired thongs.

P.s. In the background is this really cool copper lantern that I got from a friend, it has a red glass "bulb" to protect the candle light... Haven't really had a good spot for that one, it's just rolling around my house homeless. I'm so terrible when it comes to interior decoration initiatives. Takes me ages to put up a picture - even a favourite one! Quite pathetic, really, considering that I know how to do it... This p.s. is longer than the rest of the message, which is even worse LOL!

These trouser sock knee high nylons from Secret are equipped with rows of silicone circles and dots to avoid slipping inside your sleek office shoes. While I can't say they are particularly practical (they are slippery just as any other nylons, I've noticed), they are a dream come true for any shoe fetishizer who also happened to be addicted to popping bubble wrap. You can get both your obsessions covered all in one: socks and circles to get rid of. They peel quite readily after a few wearings, and just like warts, they beg to be removed from that sheer nylon sole...

My Pink Flower Socks

What can I say? I just lurve these socks! Transparent pink with the large floral motif, they are just made for me. The shoes are surprisingly comfortable despite the stiletto heel, and they have a pink flower to match!
These just lift up my mood, which happened to be rather peachy today anyways. And they were fun walking in on my evening stroll around town.

Shoes de Jour

Today I was wearing these shoes. I've been savouring them for a long time, because I can't get them anymore and they are one of my favourite shoe ever. I was wore them today with black lycra ankle socks and black pants. This photo is from the good days when I didn't need to take photos of my own feet... Someone was really digging these feet and socks and just couldn't wait for me to take my shoes off.

I should wear them more often instead of worrying about how much longer they would last. It's best to just enjoy what you love instead of storing it away. Everything is temporary anyways...
